Christian Movie Reviews exists as a service to those that would like to make informed choices in their viewing and support of films in the Market for our hard earned cash.  What we buy, we support, and what we watch, we include in our lives.  So what we choose to include in our daily diet of entertainment should be measured carefully through the lenses of common sense and Christian virtue.  There will be a special concern here for films aimed at children as they are the most tender and impressionable among us and often targeted with inappropriate subject matter.  For some reason many in the business of film production see their craft as an opportunity to inculcate understandings of ourselves and our culture that denigrate morality and self respect into the thoughtlife of children.  Ethics are never neutral.  Someone’s agenda is always being promoted.  The only question is whether or not the agenda is good or bad.  What the Christian needs to ask is whether or not this thing being taught through picture and story is something good and true or a weathering away of beauty to replace it with ashes.  Let us never fail to be a thoughtful people.
